ROFL!!!! Impersonating a MOD?!...
I was in game and getting hackusated SOOOO bad and this one kid says in the mid of pub "Im a MOD and i will ban you" i say.. "If you were a MOD you would be in CF MODS" besides i know all of the MODS and ik for a fact he wasnt one.. I dont remember his IGN but he was impersonating a Mod to threaten me.... fail.
EDIT: He said not all mods are in CF mods... ROFL.

Just by saying he's a MOD, he could had been perm banned. Next time take a screenshot and send it to a MOD or Saidin through PMs. Just like this one: http://clan.z8games.com/charstat_cf.aspx?usn=14440305

It was funny when I saw that thread about you leaving and then saw you playing the next day... lol -
A little tidbit: MOD's don't have ingame powers.
Also, if somebody tries to impersonate themselves as a MOD, well do a quick check by leaving the game and seeing if they have a MOD namecard. 2nd check would be if they are in the CF MODS clan.
If you do spot any MOD or GM impersonation, please send a PM to a GM with the IGN and a screenshot of what they were doing that was deemed "impersonating".
Oh and also, some impersonators will try to scam you by having you give up your username and password to your account. Don't fall for it! -

Just going to elaborate on what dot said.
Yes, it is correct that all MODs will be in the CF MODS clan [all the current mods are], and should have their moderator name tag. It is also correct that most GMs are in the GM Clan.
But, there are exceptions. For example, [GM]Hpx is in his own clan, but has his chat in game changed colour-wise. Most GMs will not play the game and claim that they are a GM, unless questioned.
For instance, [GM]mark will not go in game and announce "I am a GM!" He will only note the fact of provoked to the point.
For any instance, we advise sending a support ticket. If they are a GM or a MOD, the ticket will simply be void and nothing will happen. If they are not a GM or a MOD, they will be banned. It's a win-win. MODs and GMs generally are known by the support team.
