Did anyone get sticky mouse problem before server maintenance

I am not sure if the server maintenance has fixed the issue. But on Jan 3rd, I got sticky mouse issue back. I remember last time seen this issue is about the CF can run on multiple core, before that, my dual core always show 50% cpu usage when CF is running. And occasionally mouse stop response for a second or so. This time looks same.

I send a support ticket but it already replied as closed. I am not sure what that means. Problem fixed or it never happens to tester?

My cpu is Core2 dual 7250, with 2G memory and dedicated video card.

Whatever it is, I don't have this issue.

Yes i get this often with my old pc, go to task manager>crossfire.exe>set priorty>low (it fixes it for me i dont know about you)

All of sudden, you can not turn around, the mouse seems stick to a point, and the suddenly it start to turn.

With a pentium 4 cpu 2.4GHz, you can almost always find that problem if with window xp. You moved you mouse the pointer still stays in the same the position, then suddenly it jump. It seems that the cpu is busy with something else and can not response.

When I had that problem this used to fix it, although you have to do it everytime you launch Cross Fire.

Put your Google Browser on the "Strict Filter" setting and it will prevent your mouse from getting sticky.

I want more details. Yes I think I have chrome running during game. But I have no idea why the browser setting can stick the mouse. Previously I also have run the chrome or firefox when gaming, but the sticky mouse only appears on 1/3, I notice a x-trap updates (2 ~1m file download).

Anyway, sounds promising because I have never mentioned chrome is running.

You are right. But I can not edit it now.

Problem continues. Last Friday (i guess), I still find mouse and keyboard stop to response in game. I noticed the instances are in the Ankora SnD. All of sudden I can not turn around and keep moving in one direction. The longest duration is about 1 second.

Here. When you have the game open do this:

1. Open Task Manager
2. Find "crossfire.exe"
3. Right click
4. Set Affinity
5. Only have 1 of the boxes checked.
6. ENJOY!
