The gun game

I searched this to see if it had been suggested before...I didn't find anything so I'm posting it. The gun game from CS/COD would be a great mode to add to CF, as it's a TON of fun to play (at least for me). Personally I prefer the CS team method, but FFA is good too, or the option for both could be given. Good idea? Bad idea?

Would help if you explained what it is, since not everyone has played CS or COD. I know what you speak of, but a good suggestion always needs explaining even if its obvious.

Good call there, I forgot that it would be useful.

The gun game goes like this: Everyone, either on teams or in a free for all, begins with a low weapon. For Crossfire, maybe an M9. Once you kill someone with it, you get a new, better gun, maybe a P228. Then a deagle. Then you might go to SMGs or shotguns. It keeps going with easier to use guns until the last few. Then it could be something hard to use, like the Winchester, and then the last game winning kill could be a grenade.

As a side note, killing someone with a knife reduces the level of the gun they have by one, in other words setting them back by one kill.
