Game crashes when scrolling in lobby
Bug description
Inside a channel lobby, when I scroll through the list of rooms by turning the scroll wheel of my mouse or by dragging the scroll bar, CrossFire crashes, that is, it freezes up and the "Send error report" message box comes up.

This is extremely annoying because it forces me to re-start the game every few minutes. Yes, of course I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling CrossFire and so on, but the bug persists. This support forum thread may possibly be about the same problem.

Steps to reproduce
- Start CrossFire
- Select a server (UK4 in my instance)
- Select a channel (CH5 in my instance)
- Scroll down the list of rooms
Notes
- This is an intermittent bug.It will not be reproducable using the above technique every time.
- The bug seems to be more likely to happen when I have just played a game, go back into the channel lobby and start scrolling
- Using the mouse wheel seems to cause it more often than using the scroll bar itself
Scenarios
There are two execution paths that occur when this bug takes effect:
- 75% of the time, the events listed in the description above will take place, ending with the "Send error report" message.
- 25% of the time, the error message will not come up in the foreground. Rather, the frozen CrossFire client will stay in the foreground, and the error message will appear behind the lobby. I can switch over to it using the ALT+TAB key combination, at which point a different message comes up (the following is a rough approximation, I don't know it by heart): "File missing: Shader File "somefile.rez" is missing"

Game crashes when scrolling in lobby
I have been having this exact same issue since the November patch. Never had this issue before. I have done support tickets, which the first one directed me to the forums, and the second one was an obviously automated response that did not resolve my issue. I have done dozens of post about this on the support forum, search my username to see all of them. I even posted my .DMP files online for a tech support agent to fix this issue. I am using Windows 7 (64-bit). I'm hoping tonight's patch fixes the issue. -
What did you use to view the .DMP files?

As to the actual bug itself...
UK4 has always been known to have been buggy, hence the most common solution was to avoid UK4.
I'm sorry myself that I cannot provide any help here.
Have you been in contact with Support and providing such details to them? What have they responded, if any?
