I only know vent and ts3. I prefer ts3 cause of the better layout and handling. And I don't have a choice cause at least 90% of all Germans use it. -

After struggling with it (should be around 8K clicks
) I decided to let it go, and used skype, despite all the connexion problems, but that was a long time ago.
And yeah, not only Germans but most Europeans prefer Ts for some reason. -
But what's the differences between em? A lot of ppl prefer vent but what's so good about it?
It's just preferences in the display, mostly, because there are no quality differences, nor does one make you lagg more than another. Vent is probably more used because people got used to it after seeing Wogl guys use it, or logging in in pug vent, etc... and then others had to use it to chat with them, and so on... -
mumble strikes me as very low latency compared to ts3 which is close to useless for me on a bad day.MisterMunzta wrote: »It's just preferences in the display, mostly, because there are no quality differences, nor does one make you lagg more than another. In that case, never mind what I posted before.
Never tried mumble, but I know it's supposed to be good.
Solution would be to quit using Ts3 -

I believe in you, you can scrim with 600 ping and get a decent score!
seriously, maybe your Ts server had a bug, because I don't think it can require enough of the passing band to make your ping rise from 70 to 600, I mean, it's just sound! -

I know... That's the thing I don't get...:( and haha I cw but I didn't cw lawlz somebody is sub for me rite now since I can't use ts3...but I really don't even need ts3...all the talking devices are useless in my opinion except when u just wanna chill and talk with someone... -

It's actually very useful in serious cw, as it's easier to discuss about the strats for the next rounds, or warn teammates, and thing that writing just can't do.
It also improves the team spirit, as it makes you know each other more intimately.
EDIT : Double posted because the previous one had nothing to do with this one. -
ts3 and vent work completely fine..
i would not use xfire tho.. the more ppl you have in your channel in xfire, the more you will lag.
Xfire is not server sided like ts3, vent, and raidcall..
Raidcall is completely free tho. You can make your own channels with password and be in control of them. If you can't afford a server or have a good one that you can use, then raidcall is a good choice. Raidcall is server sided just like vent or ts3. But if you have a good/private server you can use, then ts3, vnet, or mumble work fine..
note: if you are only going to be on with only like 3 or 4 people.. its all of them are probably going to work the same. (except for xfire.. it depends how fast your internet is)
EDIT: ppl are always debating which one is better... To be honest, all the server sided programs work about the same.. what is more important is where the server is located. Always pick the closest server before u pick the program..
