why aiming for over 300 ffs?
guarantee you wont be able to tell any major difference after about 70/80...
but anyways, cf relies more heavily on CPU power...so depending on that, you'll prob be around 60+fps -

with 300 fps i will be 99,99% sure i don't get fps drops when i need them badly
i think i am going back to the high clocked 775 pentium IV cpu's ( 661 ) if i want more fps -

i dont have a clue about intel cpu's so someone else'll have to help u with cpu choice...
and its better to have a consistent+decent set-up, then you wont HAVE fps drops...i have pretty much constant 150+ fps and its epic. -

i already know a lot of computers but not ATI graphics cards , i always had nvidea cards.is this guy a troll or just really bad with computers?
i really enjoy programming (python & lua)
and i'm a decent linux (mandriva / SuSe) user.
so please don't say i'm bad with computers.
