maybe your files are corrupted , try reinstalling

either what ^he^ said, or your graphics card cannot handle the new images. your gun images might have been downloaded and corrupted so they don't load, you can probably just re-install to fix it.

I've Seen That Happen When The .Rez Files Aren't Being Read Correctly.
Reinstall In It Should Fix Itself.
