PCI goes into PCI, not sure what you are asking by your question.
the graphics card on my desktop is integrated but they have a slot where i can put a discrete video card. I read in some specs in video cards that they work on pci express 2.0 and 2.1. On my tower, they have pci express slot, not the version 2.0 and 2.1. Im asking if the video card 2.0 will work on this slot. -
Are you referring to a PCI slot, or PCI-E slot?
PCI-E 2.1 GPUs are backwards compatible.
However if you're planning on running a card on the PCI slot, you're more than likely going to have to go with a fairly dated card, as that particular mounting discontinued for retail cards quite a while back. -

Then you'll be fine. Even if you purchase a 2.1 card, it'll be backwards compatible with your current 2.0 slot.
Just make sure you meet the card's power requirements before ordering.
do you mean that my pci express slot is the 2.0 version?
