Hi, they have a slow on my desktop PCI express x16. My question is: Can i put a video card who work on pci express 2.0(2.1) in the slot or no because its another version of interface.

Yes you can. The difference is : 2.0 pci is for video cards, 2.1 supports , video cards, wifi cards, sound cards ect. So yes.

the graphics card on my desktop is integrated but they have a slot where i can put a discrete video card. I read in some specs in video cards that they work on pci express 2.0 and 2.1. On my tower, they have pci express slot, not the version 2.0 and 2.1. Im asking if the video card 2.0 will work on this slot.

Are you referring to a PCI slot, or PCI-E slot?

PCI-E 2.1 GPUs are backwards compatible.

However if you're planning on running a card on the PCI slot, you're more than likely going to have to go with a fairly dated card, as that particular mounting discontinued for retail cards quite a while back.
