    Stop spamming threads.

And you won't get help NOW. Holiday hours buddy. Sorry, but you're (a word + out of luck)
  • lol.

its a holiday, sit down and wait for offices to open up (monday).
stop wasting money calling a phone that nobody will answer for 4 days.

and of course, accounts don't get hacked, your incompetence allows them to be compromised.
don't share accounts, don't download cheats, and your account will never be "stolen" or "hacked".

These are the reasons BRs' accounts get hacked, But the legit ppl, are hacked because of jealousy. (Guns, Weapons, A legitimate acc) Its sad that this happens to the GOOD ppl..
But Honestly (The BRs deserve a bit of a lesson for hacking)
Same goes for Turkey and Egypt..
  • dont give out your info. or download cheats. I dont even think Z8 should waste thier time on these people who are stupid enough to do so.
    Its their fault.

Ive yet to find any cheats that come with a keylogger.

Theres only two ways to lose your account:
You gave the information to someone, be it accidentally out of stupidity or willingly out of even more stupidity.
You downloaded a cheat or game modification that wasn't clean, and someone took your info that way through a keylogger.

Account information on our servers is secure.

The probability of you downloading something else unrelated, getting a keylogger and the maker of that keylogger is interested in some random gaming account on a free to play game such as Crossfire is VERY low.
He'll be more interested in your credit card/bank/facebook/WoW/steam info.
If you get keylogged and lose your account that way, you downloaded something related to Crossfire that wasn't safe, most likely a cheat.

I don't see how pointing fingers at certain countries will lead to any good outta this... :(

Not really. After the keylogger has done its work, really anything that has a username and password is a "valuable" sale for that "hacker" who then probably sells such information to underground markets that then "resell" it to people wanting to purchase better accounts. So yes you are right that interesting accounts may have a higher chance in being looked at, but just because it's CF doesn't make any worse than say.. WoW.

And obviously the credit/bank/facebook info goes gets sold into different underground markets.

This is part of what I studied when was in Digital Forensics as a major in college. Unfortunately I did not continue that path, so basically my knowledge is very limited.

And as Dot said, their servers are secure. I doubt hackers would actually try to force their way into Z8's servers to steal account info. It's soooo much easier to just scam a kid outta one with free zp or fake trading.

Maybe there is or there isn't a correlation with hackers stemming from such countries. But we DON'T know as more than likely it is confidential company information to track down where these ingame hackers come from by tracing their IP.
*yes I know ppl can spoof, I doubt the majority do though...*

And I didn't get your first paragraph about me telling me dot stuff.

If you want to do a quote within a quote do:
    [noparse]

    myquotereplyingtoyour1stquote

The center quote is the original, then it gets bigger and pointed outwards as the # of quotes are used.

Nobody is going to bother selling a Crossfire account when they have no idea what Crossfire is.
Its not something to put up on Ebay, you need to know what it is, in order to determine whether or not its something you CAN sell, to find a market to sell it on.

    Thats why its unlikely.
