Cf likes profit, we like to play
in Suggestions
A suggestion i thought of years ago. Banning a hacker doesnt get rid of them, ip ban does not get rid of them. But what if cf was turned into a CD game. Say 20 or even 10 dollars. Why? well cf wants money, and with a CD ban the hackers would have to keep buying more CD's. this would reduce hackers by A LOT because nobody wants to waste money. The game can stay Free to Play, but have it run or just be downloaded from a CD.

isnt worth much now anyway. why? cuz of hackers. Free to Play means, free to play. doesnt mean free to obtain. there are quite a few games, myb 50 ive heard of since my quest for a good mmo, who run a free to play game yet they have it as a CD. It wud cost a lot to distribute the game, but the profit of how many people would COME BACK and the people that like the game and want to see less hackers that would stay and spread the word. I do believe would be worth the hastle.

Explain to me where your logic is coming from.. Apparently $10-$20 is free now? -
Sorry for double post, but correct me if I'm wrong.. Wouldn't each CD have to coded with that particular players data on it? Meaning Z8 Games would have to take every player currently out there, put all their data on a CD, and then ship it to them.. Hmn.. Making money, how exactly?

let me explain to the few brs that cant grasp it. u buy the CD, pop it in, enter a CD code for the download, the rest of the data would be as it is now, the only thing the CD would have is the download and the download code. The game itself can be free to play meaning no monthly fee. FREE to PLAY. you who think im contradicting myself are thinking that im mixing free to PLAY with free to OBTAIN.

That isn't free to play. That's pay to play without a subscription. You are trying to correct people who are correct, while you're not. You need to do your research before you try to correct someone.
CrossFire like all other F2P FPS games run a Freemium way of payment. Free to play means it is free to download and play continuously, while having other content added in that costs real money to keep the game running.
CrossFire is a Free2Play game and will be staying as such. We've stated that there is no consideration towards becoming a Buy2Play or console game.
Like every F2P game, we will see fluctuation of cheaters. During times such as this, it's the winter holidays. Children have off and G4Box staff are running on holiday hours. Meaning children actually have time to cheat before we can get to them. However, our autoban system is still running 24/7 and is banning hundreds of cheaters daily. It is not likely any free2play game will ever be hacker free, however we can get as close to hacker free as possible, and over CrossFire's years we have been doing so. the statistics showing the decrease in not only the variety of cheats, but as well the amount is quite impressive.
We will not be seeing CrossFire turn into a buy2play game. However we will be seeings a decrease in cheaters as the game goes on. With CrossFire almost caught up to par in terms of amount of content with CrossFire Chinese, our developers will also have them time to work on more anti-cheat measures.
It takes time, but it will happen. Cheaters are someone you have to deal with, just like thugs on the streets. They'll never be gone, but as police technology grows, and their amount of staff grows, there becomes less and less. Just as CrossFire is doing. -

Therefore it's not free to play.
That's like saying MW3 is free to play, since all you need to buy is the 'CD'.
Do you have downs? I'll go easy on you if you do. -
I realize this is a double post, but I feel the need to make you understand since you are trying to correct people who are already correct, while you're not.
Free to play means it is free to download and play continuously without ever having to pay a penny. Free to play games work on a Freemium plan that allows players to keep on playing, however buy additional content so the game can stay running. This kind of freemium plan usually includes a way for players to keep playing without having to pay to gain the same experience as those who do play.
Buy2Play is what you're referring to, You buy a game to be able to play it, and that is how their money is made. These type of games usually do not have an in game market to buy more items for real money. These type of games are, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Saints Row the Third, RAGE, Skyrim, and the list goes on. However expansion packs (also known as DLCS) that you need to pay for are common with these type of games
Pay2Play refers to a game that you usually have to keep paying in order to play. This is otherwise known as subscriptions. You need to keep paying a fee every x amount of days in order to keep playing. You usually also have to buy the game itself. And example of these kinds of games are World of Warcraft and Star Wars the Old Republic.
You are saying that though you are buying a cd key, the game is still free to play. In this logic, you are calling all of the games such as I listed earlier, (BF3, MW3,SR3, Skyrim), free to play games. When even the companies themselves will tell you they're not free to play, and if you bring that up they'll most likely investigate you for torrenting their games as they are not free to play titles. -
They wont do it because, well others already explained it...
Anyway, what they could do is to make a zp server. You have to pay to enter the server, maybe 5 dollar. The people who don't like this can ignore it and play on the normal servers, those who like it can play on the pay server. If you get caught hacking on that server you get banned and you have to create a new account = you have to re-buy everything.
They might pay 5 dollars one time, or maybe twice but they won't to it forever. One day they will find out that it is pointless to pay again and again and they wont hack anymore. Well at least not on the pay server. -
Dumb idea, just quit this game, this game isn't wortha single penny. So many hackers and abusers. Z8 doesn't do **** to ban hackers. Every day they are back, a guy is aimbotting and wall hackign and it's caught on video, 3 day ban? HAH what a joke...
This game is ****, I quit
