1900+ files (500+ added or changed since 1.4) 160MB+ Total install size, reduced since 1.5!
Full list of changes since 1.5:
- Changed the look of nearly every single menu of the game by adding in the sidebar. The sidebar now keeps all the important information together in one thing.
- Redesigned the login screen, latest version info is also shown on it now.
- Added Zombie Mode rooms.
- Fixed several instances of replicating buttons.
- Brand new profile design, fits to the sidebar.
- Updated ModHub links.
- Changed the files installed, all special backgrounds now have to be downloaded. Therefore initial files installed have greatly been reduced.
- Completely rebuilt the included program, you can now download and install backgrounds with a single button press along with downloading updates to the mod in a matter of seconds.
- Combined the options and downloader program into one.
- Associated SUI background files with windows, opening them will not work, you can only use them via direct download off the downloader.
- Added Creative Commons license.
- Added custom map icons.
- Added a version without the MSZ or map icons so you can use it on any client.
- Changed the program so it can patch in a few KB rather than downloading the full thing everytime.

INSTALLATION

SmoothUI uses a windows installer, just like the one you'll find for CrossFire. Follow the instructions and it should install fine. You may find it freezes at the folder browse menu, this is expected, do not panic.

Program!

This program allows you to download and install custom backgrounds with a single button press. It also includes several other options such as installing the SmoothBar3 and choosing whether the "Repair All" button appears in storage or not.
If you wish to submit a background for SmoothUI then please go to this thread.

The first time you run the program it will ask you to make sure your CrossFire install location is correct. Please ensure it as it will not be able to install the backgrounds otherwise.

SmoothBar 3
SmoothUI includes a set of kill marks called the SmoothBar (version 3), they can be found on the Options button on the program.
If you wish to download the marks but not the full UI click here.

REPAIRING/MOD NOT WORKING CORRECTLY/REINSTALL
The installer should *now* correctly install and overwrite all necessary files. If you have instances of certain files not working correctly, try using Mod Remover first then installing the mod.
