it took etwa 2-3 minutes, then crossfire closed, without error or something.

Same thing happens to me it freezes up for a few then goes back to server menu or i have to close

What is your normal FPS ingame?
What is your normal Ping ingame?

I think it can sometimes come from a bad connection to the servers. Check your internet settings.

did it CF closed and the buttom "send error report" came up?
I know you said that u didn't got the error but realy, did you get "Disconected" and maybe theirfore "failed to connect host server"?
how many times did you get this?

Actually, I believe that had server maintence on the 17th, it was around that time anyway, therefore, you'll dc from game saying "disconnected from server" You may have missed it or something
