What people fail to see is that the 10 and 30 ribbon intervals were never meant to be huge milestone ribbons. The 20 and 40 and 60 etc ones are the big ones. Rather than complain about an added ribbon for getting closer to the bigger milestone ones, maybe just take it as a small token? To some, its better than nothing.

For me, its a nice little addition than having to wait 20 full ribbons just to get ANYTHING. Not everyone has millions of GP stocked up.

What would the difference had been if Z8 had merely said rewards were only given at 20 and 40 and every other 20 interval? The only difference would have been, some would have a bit more extra GP. Why make a big deal out of it?

Lastly, lets get one thing clear. I am a player, just like you. Do not treat me like I am some dog, because I will take offense to it. I have an opinion just like everyone else, I should have the freedom to express it without someone bashing me just for having a tag beside my name.

I wasn't trying to be offensive, but, I do have a problem with the fact that mods always try to defend these type of topics that are truly hot topics in players minds!

Funny thing is I see mods defending topics on forums and telling me how much they disagree with the same issue while playing with me in a game when topic comes up while playing.

For now. Which is the key thing most forget. Just like before, more ribbons will come. Some easy, some not. But 30 ribbons will be hardly any problem later and people will move on to bigger and better things.

In this particular issue, its something I stand by. Being a player from Oct 2009, its not like I haven't seen things developed and changed over the years. I take these all into consideration. Where back then, the only way to make GP was through ZP.

What is the purpose of ribbons to YOU?

For me, it's to create a personality on my account (that I don't own ), display those ribbons as trophies of past events, as well as accomplishments. The rewards based on those ribbons, whether it be on a specific #, or for logging in on a specific event to be rewarded for both the ribbon and the prize; don't matter much to me, not because the value of the awards of the ribbons are miniscule; Noooooo. Rather, I place a greater value on the ribbon itself.

The 10k is a fair reward; I'd compare it to the 500GP per day for RF completion, or even the 1000 EXP for every 5 RF Missions completed. Do you THINK those are fair rewards for those completions?

Why couldn't it be 50k, or 100k for that matter... because the reward hereof has to be balanced. 50k or 100k can lead into an imbalance of the games economics. Not like MMO where they actually track that to the currency value, but what I'm saying is what if we were rewarded 50k...
Well that means an instant upgrade of a weapon, or a higher purchase power on a BM crate.

Again I'm not in the right state of mind, but here me out and help me out too.

Having an instantaneous weapon's purchase.... does that seem right? Try to put that into a futuristic perspective, such as if EVERYONE got their 30 ribbons tomorrow or something.

Or what about the higher purchase power on a BM crate? Well some people might win it, most people will lose, as always the BM has played out. But, the important thing to look at here is that it could drive demand DOWN, not up for that crate. As each win is given out, at what chance do you think that SAME winning player will go back for seconds, or even third time wins?

I don't really care about the gp reward at all... but since this is a hot topic to a lot of players I will simply say that 10k GP isn't enough motivation for me to try for 30 ribbons.

Then again a temp item (even though it is a long temp time) isn't enough motivation to get 40 ribbons to me either.

Just my 2 cents.

It's a never ending cycle. it's not like everyone wasn't aware this wouldn't be the case.

Z8 could of put a permanent AWM as the reward for 30 ribbons as it's more on par with the M4CC than 10k GP or maybe the reward 100k GP.

However the above is opinion only.

Whereas the argument advanced throughout this thread is that the rewards should be higher/better than the lower rewards to give incentives to players and cash to Z8.

So the question is this;

Is the reward for 30 ribbons better than the reward for 20 or even the same? Nothing else.

And if it's not then is there much incentive to get to 30? And if there is no real incentive; Does that make Z8 money or help the players enjoy the game?

Who care about ribbons, when in each room we have 2, 3 or more cheaters.
I invested in this game $ 10 and this is still too much.
I see no reason to buy ZP to get the ribbons. Now I have 26, M4CC, and even for me (person who not paying) 10k GP and temp shovel it`s not funny joke for 30 and 40 ribbons.

Mods opinions - I don`t care a. ******s opinions.

My job is "putting", configuration and supervision of servers. I know the rates for the use of servers and lies that people who buying ZP support game you can push to small children but not me.

You could have said this a couple days ago and it would have saved people a lot of BS, lol. Start releasing a new ribbon every month and no one's gonna give a damn about what the 30 reward is.
