weird thing says cshell.dll is changed

Download the correct file, either in direct download or in .zip format.
Extract the ZIP folder (if you did download it in .zip)
Cut and Paste OVER the older file, in this case, CShell.dll by following this pathway:
C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Z8Games\Crossfire

The (x86) is for 64-bit OS's

Then restart CF
