so you collected 29 ribbons without knowing about any reward, and when a reward is introduced and you only have to get one more ribbon until you get the reward, you get mad?

If you want to make a statement, stay at 29 ribbons and don't collect the 10 000 free GP.

Others do care about some GP, it`s not alot but at least you can get 5 Crates.
And just to annoy you, I don`t even care about the shovel, as I`m used to the Axe anyway. -

And to correct, getting 20 ribbons is SOONER than 30, not necessarily any easier for some. -

Lol no wonder Z8/G4 box do the illogical it suits the audience.
Anyway let those players be happy with the 10k GP get and let them praise Z8, in the long run it's a bad move business wise and I'll tell you why..
I have heard people grinding to get the 20 ribbons for the M4CC and even buying spops and things just to get that much needed ribbon, and I don't think I've heard anyone saying it's "not worth it", the worst I have heard is that some say they simply cannot get it at least any time soon due to the lack of ribbons and them not being ZP buyers.
on the contrary with the 30 ribbons reward; I have heard nothing positive about it, every time someone talks about it in game/clan chat etc they say it sucks and isn't worth it and I certainly have not heard anyone saying I'll buy the spop as I need just 1 more for the 30 ribbon reward.
If you cannot see how bad this is for Z8/G4 then your beyond help,
You may think your helping z8/G4 by brown nosing or defending them because you imagine they are under attack, but at the end of the day this free game requires money to run and although it may not be at the stage of financial crisis all money helps these ribbon rewards do not help anyone players or provider.

If anyone remembered the first time the ribbon rewards came out, this was the exact instance: 'omg 20 ribbones for a rekinned m4?! omgwtfbbq! so not worth it!'
It's a never ending cycle. it's not like everyone wasn't aware this wouldn't be the case. -

Thats If i remember correctly the original post about how for ribbons there are rewards... now just looks like were getting shafted with no vasaline. Im at 13.3 million gp and I have a shovel regular for 2879 days thats almost 8 years this game will be obsolete by then. Fail 10k gp and fail red dragon shovel.

after seeing the 2 recent prizes for the new 30/40 ribbons, it's clear z8 isn't serious about their ribbon system so I'm not going out of my way anymore to try to get them.
The 10k gp for 30 ribbons is just an insult to those that have or are trying to reach 30. -
Did you mods get 10k gp to fight this thread to its death? Sure sounds like it! Bottom line is this, In order to get to 30 ribbons presently you would need to spend some zp in order to get this. So why is 10k gp warranted? It's not, infact it's garbage. I have 2.4 million gp and another 10k is quite worthless to me!
Did you know: You get the same reward for becoming a private in this game as you do getting 30 ribbons! See a problem there mods? Figured you wouldn't!

Just because someone hit the mark already doesn't mean the reward should be bad. Putting in the effort now or putting it in later doesn't really matter, the point is that it was put in. I figured 30 would be AK crystal or somethin :P Needless to say, I was a little surprised.
You can't really blame people for expecting something better at 30, and if you'd like people to spend more money trying to get ribbons, it would be advantageous to give them incentive. I could throw some ZP at this money to hit the 30 mark (getting m14, tommy, etc), but if the payout is less than I'm putting in, it's probably not worth it.
The truth is, ribbons have no intrinsic value. They don't prove anything, no one can really brag about them, and no one cares how many you have. So if the point of ribbons is to encourage people to collect from incentives, you ought to actually give them good incentives. Or if you just want people to collect them for their own sake, make the ribbons something brag-worthy, rank players based on them, or make them affect players in some way. A good start would probably be putting ribbon stats in-game, so other people can see where you're at without opening a browser...or just make 30 a crystal AK and everyone will SDFU. xD -

Sounds like you making some accusations. Lemmie guess, since the hardest ribbon to achieve is the clutch killer ribbon are you, and/or, the rest of the z8 team ASSUMING that people have been farming in order to get their 30th so the prize is crap?
Quit beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel.
