I would go for the M4 because
1. using M12s will result in you being called a noob
2. M4 has more power and takes more skills to use
3. One hit head shot from all ranges
4. IMO it looks better
5. IT makes you a better cf player
6. some clans dont let you use M12s or scarlight in any cw! -

and m12s have more ammo -
With m12 you will get kicked and you wont gain any skills.
With m4 you can practice almost everything.
m12s is not the weapon you need, try k2/aug/qbz/ak47. There are plenty more guns.
i see people screaming kick m12 but for the most part they dont anymore...
OT: get what you want. If you want to use m12 go for it.
Its there to use and dont let others tell you otherwise.
I dont use it but thats because its annoying shooting it. -
Guys i bought both weapons and actually the m12s was like the m4a1 no any difference but the m12s have faster shooting speed and recoil and better accuracy so i think it is better and also the m12s requires staffsergant level 4 but m4a1 requires only a private and m12s has less weight than m4a1 making it easier for shooting mooving targets so i think it is a deadly gun thats my opinion i scored with m12s 43 kills and only 11 deaths XDLOL. People on top of the player lists are all noobs. All farmers. -

M4A1scar-L and m12s are 2 weapons you should never even touch with a stick.
If you want to gain respect and stay in game longer than 2rounds.
And I remember the days when every 'pro' had a SL, Hahaha! -
M12 is way to easy to use.
Last time I used it was because I ran out of ammo for my AK knife in Ship TDM and had to pick up a gun. Picked up the M12 and got 12 kills in the first clip alone and went from 34/15 to 68/16 with just that gun. 34 kills in 1 life just by picking it up.
The gun should never have been a GP gun, Its a Temp gun in other versions of CF. -

m9- that the last thing some body will call op.
glock18 & wincester and other guns that is realy hard to use.
- but then they will still call u a noob for killing them lol.;)
