Your post and your signature are both phoqueing dumb.

Mouse accel is something you disable yourself. Maybe someone tells you about it, maybe you read about it somewhere, but people in a community like CrossFire aren't part of the big world of Quake, Counter Strike, and Star Craft where this kind of information is always present.

So the fact is, like most of this community, that he is so used to the mouse accel it doesn't seem like it's actually there. Only way anyone here would know about it is if someone awesome like doop showed up and shoved some knowledge in their face.

Edit: tl;dr , CSS has nothing to do with this.

Does mouse acceleration (negative/positive) bother you?
I barely feel the positive acceleration, little to none, with my deathadder. The only time i have had negative accel is when i was using the IE3.0 @125hz and the g400 @125hz and that bothered me so much i returned both of them within a week and went back to the deathadder.

edit: About the mouse fixes not working. I believe the cpl mouse fix did work for me. When i reformatted a long time ago i had crazy acceleration issues then i realized i didn't re-install the cpl fix. DL'd it and 99% of my accel was gone.

If he bought CSS right now, downloaded it, and started playing, he would have mouse accel. Same for TF2, CS, DOD, MW3, and so on. Your comment basically says, "If you weren't such a dumbass and played a good game like me you would know about mouse accel." Maybe I over reacted, maybe I read it wrong (it is just text), but from my point of view it it wasn't helpful in any way and seemed ignorant.

Mouse frequency? Idk why you didn't ask. I use all the default setting on my mouse, 500hz that is.

nope, i was thinking the same exact thing when i read his post and i was glad you called him out on it.
    Crosshair Color: Yellow

i don't know why more people don't use yellow, it's by far the easiest to see on just about every map... of all the CF options, that is the one i've never had to toy with.

And if I wouldn't have had this signature you would have taken it like that?
I was using a game like CSS as an example of a game in which there was no built-in mouse accel as opposed to CrossFire, no need to overreact in this kind of way. The fact that I play Source has nothing to do with this, but okay...

Yeah hah, the one thing I forget is mouse hertz. Too late to edit, maybe I can find some mod to change it up. I'm guessing it's the default 500hz for the people using Windows 7, possibly 125hz for Windows XP users. I got the default 500hz.

Personal preference, I've been using light blue for so long in so many games, it sort of just sticks out when it needs to and blends in just enough not to bother me. Yellow blends in way too much, possibly a difference in video settings, brightness, etc.
