The lie that they have been even remotely slowing down this process is illusory at best. -

think i used the wrong words. i meant that they are just buying time by printing more and more money when there is no actual value left at all. -
American's are stupid, that's why.
too easy to say that. look at the media over there. look at fox. the fact that they are even allowed to broadcast is a disgrace. people forgot how to think for themselves and question authority.
did you see Weapons of Mass Deception ?

Inflation
The advice you usually get:Inflate the currency, They don't say debase the currency, They don't say devalue the currency They dont say cheat the people who are safe They say lower the interest rates
The real deception is when we distort the value of money we create money out of thin air we have no savings yet there's so called ''capital''
My question bore's down to this:How in the world can we expect to solve the problems of inflation that is the increase of supply money with more inflation
How can you as Americans sit down and watch your base money supply drastically rise without a proportional rise in goods/service's and think that everything's fine and then wonder why your in so much debt.Poweredinfo wrote: »Waiting for someone to answer my point on inflation...

The gold standard is not efficient it is a dream.
You cannot control your money supply,You would like your currency to be based of the amount of gold that exists at any given moment?
Look @ what happened to Churchill

Fractional reserve banking must end, but the gold standard is no alternative. -

He is saying to resort back to a situation where the money is based on gold, a physical means, than what the Feds say is our GDP/GNP. -

So he wants your money to be like an IOU for gold?
If you want to put it in those terms yes. You have to go back to the fundamentals of what "money" was based on in the beginning.
Other nations have had it mean gold, land, even water. With the USA it switched to GDP/GNP due to the mass manufacturing that it had held. Of course, that isn't the case now. -
Last time I checked, there were, how many other news outlets that consistantly gave opposing views against fox?phalaenopsis wrote: »too easy to say that. look at the media over there. look at fox. the fact that they are even allowed to broadcast is a disgrace. people forgot how to think for themselves and question authority.

There are 2 sides to everything, and Fox just happens to cover the other less known side more often than many of the other media outlets.RawrJafrikan wrote: »Yes, but the others don't consistently lie and or propagandize everything.
I don't watch fox, or really any other media outlet, but either Fox has some powerful friends, America doesn't mind this "disgrace", or Fox actually balances the news against most of the other media outlets. -
So what are Ron Paul's strong points in your opinion?
What would you consider his weak points?
How do you think he fares vs. other candidates? (not asking for poll results, just blunt opinion)
How do you think he would fare vs. Obama? (again, not looking for poll results) -
To kill a Truth?
Some things need to be taken on board.

His foreign policy: amazing.
his domestic policy: scares me.
Against Obama? Not gonna win... just to be honest. -
