I don't think anyone has a problem with that formula it is just that the rewards are lame.
Aren't the rewards supposed to be better as they get higher? 20 ribbons for example is M4CC but for 30 ribbons you couldn't get an M9. -

True, we do need a bigger GP amount, but not a new weapon. All ZP hoe kids are running around with M4cc already. -
I have a doubt that z8 will be alive after 2 years or 4 (when some on can get 40 rib) so 2 year enough. But 10k gp its real peace of nothing for 30 coz even most of donators and farmers have no 30 yet.Yea the shovel should be perm. -

LOL I haven't hit 10 ribbons...I think? I have the AWM Red Dragon and I think they should make more red dragon guns are a very unique skins and imagine like a AWm RD, Anaconda RD and shovel RD. I bet in the next 2 years they will have some red dragon pistol -

Less is more - stick to 20 and just take any free ribbons as they come along you never know you might get 15k GP for 50 ribbons in the future. -

i think its kinda shady 10k GP for 30 ribbons come on and 2 years shovel for 40 ribbons.. to all hardwork and zp spent for 30 ribbons thats all you get? nyahahaahahhahahaa so ashame... it make me think that they dont care about us all they care is our money is going to there zp money pot..

Calm down, you were never guaranteed a bazagilliontrillionbillionmillionhundredtweedlydeethousand GP in the first place. The point of ribbons was to have some extra flare to the clan page, and so people had another form of reward. It's similar to the badge system, they aren't crucial to the game, but they sure do help out every now and then.
Why don't I see people complaining about the following?
Elite Grade C Level 3 - Blue Muzzle Flame + 30k GP
Elite Grade B Level 1 - M60 Adv 7 day
Obviously, the reward isn't as good, but it's not like anybody's complaining about that or anything
. It's the same logic here. You have to get some consolation [not as good] prizes on the way to getting better prizes. New ribbons [along with new milestone ribbons] will be added all of the time, just be patient. -

As you know some people try to obtain ribbons to get the reward, some even donate ZP etc to get that extra ribbon.
Do you think people are gonna do the same with revive tokens etc IE buy 1000 to get the extra ribbon to get the 10k gp?

Yes.
Most probably not if the gap between decent and out right lame is maintained.
For instance the M4CC is 20 ribbons and if there are then lame rewards for everything else besides a perm weapon at 100 then most players will figure it's a waste of money to get to the 100 ribbons and not bother.
It doesn't even have to be a perma weapon but the rewards ought to be proper.
Do you honestly believe it's fair from a players prospective or even good business sense to offer an M4CC at 20 ribbons but offer like 80% of the price of an M9 for 30?
