Probably a tagged advertisement.
Regardless, you can't get a trojan from looking at a website unless you're using some old-as-sin browser and OS, so chill.
I dont have an antivirus atm, my AVG expired
, should I risk it? Using Windows 7 64 bits. -

Just don't download anything from it (obviously theres nothing legitimate to download from the clan page anyway). -

Depends on the site actually. Everything you look at you download onto your computer temporarily for that session. DeviantArt had such an issue for quite a while. Had to utilize AdBlock+ to avoid such an annoyance. -

It's a common mistake that people think you can only get virusses by downloading something(It's technically true since you download a webpage when you visit it)
But people don't understand when you go to a webpage you download the page to your pc So ya you download all the components on that website to.
And it can be so coded to do stuff like allowing it self to download another file and that file can be a trojan etc..
Avast has one of the best web scanners(Thanks to it's community)
So there is a possiblity that a ad have caused this dection that was reported.
It can be a false decetion to but you never know....
So for now you peeps just better believe your avast till more information has been released about it.
P.s I use Firefox + Adblock and I don't get that detection so it was probably caused by a ad -
Caching mischevous code and allowing it go execute something harmful is extremely difficult with modern browsers and security-filledtoannoyance operating systems, hence the addendum.MoMosaysNo wrote: »It's a common mistake that people think you can only get virusses by downloading something(It's technically true since you download a webpage when you visit it)

But if its still possible under those circumstances, I gladly stand corrected.
Guess I should install an antivirus for the first time in ten years. -

Modern browsers/OS's are secure of course....and it's difficult to get your way in.
But new virusses(etc) are daily made and new security holes are always found in programma's
And to find those things there is always victims
People learn from that how to close the holes or fight/remove the virusses etc.
It's just are you the one of the first to get infected by it?
And those are mostly people that just visit every site the see and download what the see.
To experienced users it won't happen that fast because the know what the do :P
But there is always a chance.
