Screen Resolution 1600x900
I got an alienware M17x a while ago and I made the mistake of not ordering the 1920x1080 screen, I just ordered it with the normal 1600x900 screen in it. Since crossfire doesn't have 1600x900 resolution options in the game I'm wondering how I can make my game full screen, I have looked at other posts on how to make the game full screen but they do not help as this is a laptop and I have no option to change (My Digital Flat Panel options in the AMD catalyst control center) like other posts say fixes this issue.
My laptop specs
Brand-Alienware M17x R3
Processor-Intel core i7 2670QM @3.2Ghz
RAM-8Gb @1600Mhz
HDD-2 x 500Gb Seagate Momentus XT in RAID 0
Screen-max resolution 1600x900 (I can also go to 1280x720,1024x768 or 800x600 but would prefer not to)
Also crossfire wont let me change the resolution to any "widescreen" resolutions becaus apparently my monitor wont work with it so I'm using the 1024x768 option in crossfire which only uses a stupid little box on my screen with black bars on both sides.
Please help because it's very annoying only being able to use like half my screen.

Yep, I have worst problem, my resolution is 1920x1080. The CF can set only 1024x768, but its a little box in a center of my screen. When i choose 1600x900 view is oblate. -.-
Why CF dont support HD screens?
My monitor's also 1920x1080 native, but that doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be able to use that or any other particular resolution in any game.
The resolution and display options and availability are determined by your GPU.
I have a modern GPU, therefore I have the option of using any of the resolutions in-game, whereas my older GPU would only let me use the first widescreen option.
