High resolutions cause lags??

Everytime i use the 1280x800 resolution i get in the game play for a few mins then my ping starts rising until it is unplayable like 5000 ping.
when i use the 1440x900 i get in the game for like 1 min then my ping rises.
1680x1050 i get in my ping is already 9000.

    Your resolution has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with ping at all lmao, ping is the number of milliseconds it takes a packet of data to go from your computer to the server and back to you, maybe it causes fps lag but most likely not.

    You should check your internet speed at speedtest.net and post your result here so maybe we can help you fix this problem.
