How do I get my FPS better?
Hey I have tried almost everything to get my FPS better on Cross Fire and nothing seems to work. I have installed Game booster and that helped the smallest bit, and then I searched some stuff up on the Internet and saw ATI Catalyst and I tried that but it costs money and after wards I go on to Cross Fire and my FPS is usually from 80 - 100 and it drops down to 10 - 20 and I lag horribly but I ask one of my clan members and he says to open Task Manager and go to Processes and "kill" off a couple of them. Well now I open that up and I'm to afraid on what to delete or not so how do I tackle this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

80-100 is fine.
No no no, I'm usually 80 - 100 but then i leaps down to 10 - 20 for 30+ secondsGo to "C".
Find Windows. Click on it.
Then find "System 32" and delete that folder.
Reboot and problem is solved.
I dont know what "C" is and this sounds a little SketchyI wouldn't do what he said if I were you...
Why? What does it do? -
hm...
he has a normal fps in the start of the game, then somethign gets in the way and makes it drop to 10~20 fps right?

Oh ok thanks, happy I didn't do that.Hm... do you have timed anti-virus scans, downloading stuff, or something like that?
I'm no sure I would have to check but I dont think that's the problem. Also I've tried putting all my Graphics and everything else like Shadow effects, Bullet trail, Weathering, etc. I turned them off. It helped me a little bit but I've always had it like that. -

check your anti-virus for timed scans, it may start scanning when you try to pplay if you play at a set time of the day.
Otherwise, can you send the specs of your pc? -

-processor:
"`....... "
-Motherboard:
" ........ "
etc.
go for a site like "can you run it" and test with any game, then get the specs from there, there will be a list of your pc parts if you scroll down, grab those and paste it here :] -

huh...
that's odd...
Go to your control panel on your computer, go to system, and click on the hardware tab, there should be a list of your pc components there :x -
Your_Doctor wrote: »Where? I cant find those things I went to my control panel, system, and then clicked on the hardware tap and it gave me these options:
Device manager
Drivers
Hardware profiles
Which one do I click on?
device manager :]
then copy everything from the open tabs (click on the little + signs and expand all the options) to the forums. -

Here you are, took me a while. -
hm...
i think i found your problem, the lack of a dedicated video card :]
even tought the onboard is quite the strong one, i think it wouldn't be reliable for any games at all, also, it has to have some driver updates, the ones that comes with it are completely shiz :x
go to nvidia's site and make the driver dl's, if it doesn't work, i guess you'll have to buy a dedicated VC

Alrighty thank you very much, but I have one more question. What is a "driver dl's"? -

Driver download, a driver is the software in a PC that essentially commands the hardware, that's the easiest way to explain it in simple terms.
moofz, do you think the driver could be the problem here? '3'
already seen some mobos with that integrated gpu having the same problem with drivers, after the driver update they could run even far cry on medium

It depends, the 6150LE isn't that great, although it usually gets 60-70 fps in CF from what I've seen of it on this forum.
If he hasn't updated his drivers in a while it could very well be the issue.
I didn't really check his specs that well but if the integrated doesn't have enough physical ram being given to it that can also crimp it. -
