nProtect Gameguard Has Stopped Working
Okay, starting on the 25th of August, everytime I open crossfire and click the start game buttom, something will come up telling me, "nProtect Gameguard rev 1315 has stopped working" It wont let me join any servers or a game and the only options are to close to program. If anyone has any advice it would help but I just took my laptop into Best Buy and they told me something was wrong with my settings for game guard. They charged me 30 bucks to fix it, but I'm worried they wont because this is the 3rd time I've taken my computer into Geek Squad.
P.S. I'm not very good with computers so please dont use tech talk :P if you know a solution try to explain it to me in an self-explanitory wayX.xthanks!

Well I had same probelem too. Kaspersky cousing the problem. Only way to fix it uninstall kaspersky. I wrote to kaspersky lab about that problem. They gonna fix it... In that time if u want to play u need to uninstall it. -
redownloading the client is worthless.but looking at other threads, the only way to resolve the issue is by turning off your anti-virus which is REALLY risky..does anyone have a more reasonable solution?please respondd.
If you aren't downloading anything or running around on the internet you won't have any issues getting any viruses or anything along those lines. Disabling it while you play crossfire won't hurt you at all.

to be honest... turning off ur anti virus isnt risky at all if ur comp is virus free and if ur not downloading anything... or on a web browser... you should be fine turning it off to play crossfire... however if that hasnt worked then something is wrong with GameGuard so you will need to delete EVERYTHING to do with it and redownload cf
