i have a question, how dod u get around the problem i had (when creating custum login page)

i noticed you moved the actual login box, when i tried that on mine the information (as in the ***'s for the password and the typed login name were in the origional spots, and not on the box i had moved.

how did you alter your login so that the login details were ontop of the new position and not in there old ones?

There is a text file located somewhere in the folder called "login.txt"
In there, you find the coordinates of where the images and text imput fields start, as well as size and name.
I haven't figured out yet where 0,0 is, though. And where's the middle?

Could you please tell me, so I don't have to experiment?

ok here is the full answer (hope so),

CrossFire\rez\UI\Scripts\LogIn.txt

don't forget to backup, if u fail at editing :P

if you read txt file you will understand where is middle, left, right etc...
this is easy way to change

size of a pic is:

-WIDTH 800
-HEIGHT 600

so calculate it

and find middle...

this is what you have to change (just position):

-POSITIONX ***
-POSITIONY ***

if you want smaller button then current, ok for example:
[OK] button

BUTTON ButtonLogin
-POSITIONX ***
-POSITIONY ***
-WIDTH ***
-HEIGHT ***
--TEX_UP "UI\UI_Login\loginup.tga"
--TEX_DOWN "UI\UI_Login\logindown.tga"
--TEX_FOCUSED "UI\UI_Login\loginfocus.tga"
