Laptop under $700

Well my friend wants to get a new laptop, and I'm busy right now, so I was wandering if there was any overall good laptops for 700 or less. It doesn't have to be a gaming one, just one that can handle hd at least.

look for sony laptops, i had a sony gaming laptop and it was amazing..

until some black guy robbed our house.
