Cross Fire Won't start

I downloaded and installed the Cross Fire launcher, then, once it opens, I click on START.
I see the patcher pop up for a moment before it disappears and nothing happens.

I have tried re-installing and no dice.

Edit: I have Windows 7, if that helps at all. I have also tried running as administrator.

Nevermind, fixed it. It turned out to be a conflict with another process that was running. Specifically, an anti-virus program.

@Aurastys, try closing processes that you don't need to be running while playing Cross Fire.

Only processes I could have up interfering with it would be my spyware doctor... but once its in game mode which it is. That should no longer effect it. I tend to clear any *admin* name processes I see anyway no use for me.
