The new mg

I dont buy zp... so i need to ask is the new mg worth of selling rpk (which i like) and dsr (which i dont like). But i dont really even play anymore but just want to try the gun.

I personally didn't want to waste my GP on the new MG since I already have an RPK-Camo, don't really need another heavy gun. But, once I tried it, it was pretty decent. Nice scope for long distance.

It's got the ammo of the m60, about as light as the rpk (i think possibly lighter), however it doesn't seem to have as much power as them except for close range.

The scope is a nice addition, but doesn't really help too much.
The only thing that bothers me is the spray on it. Goes smooth and easily controllable to m16 jerkiness at intervals which can mess up accuracy.

I agree with Talonblaze, it is too inaccurate, but I still think it's better than RPK because og the 20 extra bullets and the scope, that makes it almost a sniper if you use it properly.

Inaccurate? it is the MOST accurate mg in-game, weight is identical to an rpk, reload speed is similar as well, although my reload times are nowhere near as accurate as gods, check his guide on that one. It is NOT 1 bullet head shot gun at 100m like the rpk is. The power is extremely lacking. This gun is not for bursting or tapping, it's simply for 1 tapping. If you're a one tapper, this is by far the best mg in-game superior to all other mgs. However that applies only to 1 tapping. If you plan on using it, prepare to get used to aiming slightly lower, the bullet flies directly on top of the center of the cross hair as if it was laying on top of it(applies to scope as well). Oh and red dot scope, no wall bang. 2 bullet head shot is awful for a sniper. ;p

I do, but only sometimes. It's more fun with the new machine gun.

I dont like it's ROF

When trying to spray I expect it to shoot faster...

Although the scope is a very nice addition, especially for long range and 1 shotting.
