window 7 lags
I played crossfire with win7 and I'm getting terrible lag spikes, I can't even move my mouse. I had windows xp and It worked very good, My game-play was smooth, but the problem is when I switched to windows 7 I had terrible fps lag spikes.
If you guys know how to fix these problem, please reply to this topic. I'm desperate to play crossfire, Haven't played it in months.

Seems like you don't have enough run to run Windows 7 & Crossfire.Luckflaps11 wrote: »I played crossfire with win7 and I'm getting terrible lag spikes, I can't even move my mouse. yea, it's probably got something to do with your graphics card... windows xp takes about 512mb of ram to run, probably more like 300mb.
windows 7 takes around 1gb of ram constantly to run.
vista takes around 1.5gb of ram constantly to run... this is why xp is said to be best for gaming software, though windows 7 is best overall for user friendly access to programs and such.
if your computer has less than 3gb of ram you may have issues with windows 7.
if your processor speed is below i'd say 1700 dual core you may have issues as well.
or a 2800 single core would probably handle it.
your graphics card should be at minimal a geforce 5000 series, not the actual approved setup, but this is the worst i would ever run a pc at personally.
if by chance you meet all of these standards, you might want to make sure your graphics software is setup to run in performance mode. or a mix of performance and quality usually works well too.
