Crossfire downloader is slow.

For some reason, crossfire downloader is extremely slow on my laptop. Every time i try and use the downloader to download cf, the speed barely goes over 1KB. i get something like 9000 bytes, then it drops to 0. It makes my connection extremely slow as well. Is there a way for me to fix this?

I also doubt it is my internet connection as the down speed on my desktop is 500kb per sec.

    well i have 2 laptops. one is the old one and the other one is new one. the old one always take much more time to download cf... so im guessing maybe the computer problems.
    do you have enough spaces on your laptop?

    I have the same issue; the patch begins to 350KB/sec then drop to 0 and block my internet connection
