Resolution problem.

Hello there CF community and mods.

My computer resolution is 1366 x 768 however, about two months or so whenever i open CF my resolution goes down to like 800 x 600 or 1280 x 600 every time. witch causes me to lag out or crash...

I've been playing CF since 2009 when it first came out and nothing like this happened before. did they change the resolutions for CF or is it just my CF files are corrupted?

1. Georgia, USA.

2. It's great. I can play other games really good.

3, 4, 5, 6. i do not see how on the earth the Internet matters with my resolution problems.

7. have you ever had the same problems before?

Nor do I....

I cant even begin to think why you resolution is changing. Is it changing whilst in game? Or just when you sart up, it isnt the res you set it to?

well its both, when i start up it does not change but once i get to the log-in screen and in-game. it started to happen about 2 or 3 months ago.
so i tried to re-install CF 4 times already and nothing has changed. and since then i get DC, crash, lag, and other bad stuff happens

Running in Windowed Mode?

Run it in window mode. It will go fullscreen when you join a game and go to the res you set it at.

You join other players online for team games running need so really Play !

the same has happened to me quite few times... i thinked it was my laptop going crazy, but if it happens to u too... it only happens on this version of CF, all other games work fine...

this is caused because when you join a game on cf the resolution changes dramatically, some computers can't handle an in game resolution change. best bet is to either try to match the resolution of the pc and in game as closely as possible without messing up your preferable settings. though honestly it's all based on the pc, some can take it some cant...
