Your statement won't change a thing... Moderators are chosen when they are needed. While another moderator has said that another moderator would be needed before the new year, there were no guarantees at all.

We do our job the best we can. Obviously we let things slide a little, either because we're not official G4BOX workers or because most of us can't control ourselves due to a dumb thread topic, or both.
Yes, we should give out the example to the overall community, and we do most of the times. But sometimes a little chit chat is needed to keep the topic alive and to keep the community entertained. Don't get angry if any of us post some joke or meme image or something (as I personally do). The point of them is not to insult anyone!
As for forum cleanliness, we can't be all online on forums at the same time. Though we have non-official schedules and tasks to do (yes, we don't know the schedule officially, but we all know it, if it makes any sense, well you should get the point).
We'll be looking for more moderator(s) before the year's over, to help us out on our small duty, so keep an eye here for official announcements! -

The most I do to help is to redirect people to the right thread to post or give an explanation on my positions in suggestions. A lot of my time is spent in Tech support with problems I can generally help solve. To the problems I can't I direct them to send a support ticket to a particular dept. Or advise them how they should word the ticket with what stuff to put in.
I'm not a mod.. I don't even try to MOD.. I'll get infracted -.-Yes but it would keep discussions tidy since you have not got someone coming in saying "think idea sucks ass", instead it would be "I don't like this idea because X and if that happens then X".
It would make this place more friendly and useful.
It isn't that hard to explain one's position on why one agrees or disagrees.

It varies quite a bit, but we generally try and stay vigilant in such cases. This usually brings in the case that some forumer's attract more attention than others.
However, if someone was having issues with me. I would expect them to confront me about it. Obviously in PM's since my box is always open. It's nice hearing views of others. Sometimes our judgment or yours isn't always correct and talking with us about it is better than letting it sit.
