  • If it's turning off as in power off then your computer could be overheating. Check the fans are clear of obstruction and dust.

If it's turning off as in crashing (Blue screen of death) then look in the common fix section. It could be your computer can't run it.

If it says Windows is shutting down similar to when you click start >shut down i can't help you.
  • yea he's right, unplug the power from the pc, open up the side panel and get a canister of air and blow out all the dust cloggin up your fan! that's usually the issue with overheating, if that isn't the problem then maybe your graphics card fan had a meltdown, i had that happen to me before, don't touch it till it's been shut off a while if that's the problem, i opened my old pc up and the sucker started smoking, and i stupidly grabbed it...
2nd degree burns on my fingers blech.
but yea, if that doesn't fix the issue, i would look into getting a heat sink fan for the processor, and making sure all of your fans are in working order, just check that they all blow air, keep the pc in a cool room, with nothing blocking the air intake/exhaust.
