How is using a shortened lettering for a countries name racist?
The United States of America is shortened to USA all the time because it is shorter, faster, and easier then simply using the full name. I have yet to find anyone claiming that to be racist. -

Because Z8 is hypersensitive of any criticism of Brasilians, as soon as you say BR/Brasil they imply you are a redneck, racist etc

If someone mentions ping restrictions for example the thread is jumped on by a mod/GM and swiftly

Guys, BRs are still people. Those who say that "they should be happy with their own version" don't have much respect. They spent money on this game, it isn't fair for them not to have at least some of what they had here back. After all, if we want them to leave, we want them to leave comfortably. Not all BRs are hackers, so give them some respect.

ive been saying they should resieve some compensation since the LA CF announcement came up, but again they should be happy with their own version.
i played CF when i lived in australia, which was like a year or so ago. i moved to the U.S. forgot my old account so i made this new one like last month.
even though i dont/didnt have any guns, was low rank, etc. not lagging definatly makes the game a ton more fun. it completely changes the game for yourself all together -

But yes, with out marking in someway that makes it very obvious that it is sarcasm, it can be very difficult to tell whether or not the poster is serious. -

Hrm, my thoughts on this are:
I couldn't careless to be honest from a selfish and personal point of view what happens to them during the transition. They generally are an annoyance to most people on this version as they lag, QQ, kick and hack more than any other nation (Turks/Egyptians may be giving them a run for their money:)).
But as far as I am concerned Z8 should force them into the CF LA version, However I would vehemently argue for allowing the Established Brasilians to stay on CF NA/UK as I know a few and would still like to play with them.
And it isn't unfair/racist to force them to CF LA since that is their own version and that is obviously best for everyone.
From a Brasilian/SA point of view though having to chose between a low ping or an account that you built up overtime playing/money/surveys etc would be hard choice. Personally I think I would myself stay on this version (they would of anyway if there was no CF LA). -

Very little difference between having nothing well having nothing to buy and having lots and have nothing to buy. Are you worried most would just waste it right away and complain?

I'd say, they should be happy to participate in their beta, which includes an exclusive gift yet un-named.
If there SHOULD be any sort of transition... then it would be GP/ZP wise.
I'm not down still to see them bring over guns from our version to theirs if it isn't supposed to be there for now. An example... The M4 Patriot-S -
The problem is that their accounts on crossfire NA will still have all their stuff. Basically, they're getting a free "50% everything you spent" reward with a new account. Sure they'll play in crossfire LA, but what if they spend all on crates and get nothing? they'll just forget about their LA account and come back where they have their goodies still.

To be honest z8 went out of their way and spent their time making a whole new version just for br/sa.... They should be happy z8 even bothered most companies wouldnt of even done that much. -
I just thought that helping Brasilian clan leaders may be part of the answer as well.
Letting them have any extra LT spots, clan space, clan name change that they purchased over here on to CF LA.
Then the leaders would then naturally encourage the clan members to switch over to CF LA. And just like account stuff they did buy this stuff too.
And to add to earlier posts about discrimination/racism, I can honestly say that I have never heard many people hating on Brasilians due to race or unfairly, sure a few people do hate them without reason but more often than not it is because a Brasilian is hacking, QQin, kicking or lagging.
The real discrimination/racism in this version is directed towards Blacks, Asians and Chinese as every other day I see the C**** or N***** words being thrown about in the lobbies and in game rooms. -

1. When CF LA gets released will the IP Ban Restriction affect all the countries that will be able to play CF LA? I say countries because of its name... It's CF LA not CF BR, wich I think is kinda weird, because the game is going to be translated to portuguese, but the name of the game will be CrossFire Latin America, shouldn't it be CF BR?
2. If the IP Restriction Ban affects BRs (or other countries able to play CF LA), it wouldn't be fair, because some people spent money/time on it.
3. I went to facebook, twitter and even searched on the CF LA forum and other forums, oh and in youtube... But no one has a beta key... I would like you to inform me where can I get it... atm there are no infos in the forum/fb page/twitter.

Your questions should be posted on the CF BR forum. You are more likely to get an answer over there. And you cannot of looked far to find information about the beta codes. Even i know they have already give some beta codes away on Facebook yesterday and today at some point (obviously they arent gonna tell you when) they will give out some more beta keys on Twitter and summet called orkut. -

1 & 2: Nobody knows yet. They're not thinking of IP banning new accounts until CF LA gets some content and a bunch of people have moved over there, so it might not be for a few months.
My suggestion : make an account there now, because when the IP ban does happen, all new accounts will have to be made in CF LA but existing accounts will be able to play in CF NA/UK. You'll be less mad when they do the IP ban in the future if you already have a decent account there.
3: Nobody has any beta keys yet, you have to wait until Friday when they're going to give more information.

Well for sure ur right that this would make the switch much smoother but I could also agree if some people arent ur opinion..
If you allow those specific player group to transfer their ZP, then there will be (sooner or later) some other peeps sending the staff some tickets like "give me my zp back to my banking account" or sth like dat.
And if they don't want to change cause they have all those ZP guns here then why would they change if their ZP get transfered? This CF will still have many guns the other doesnt have.
It was their choice to buy these ZP and thus they shouldnt get it back.. If u bought something in real life and used it u cant say hmm i dont need this anymore at this point, give me something else..
Unless they don't change by theirselves because of lower pings or no more insults they shouldnt change. -

They wouldn't be getting their money back, they'd be getting zp.
As I said in the main post, this would be a win/win/win situation assuming the BRs buy as much zp as they would have without the free zp.
