Crossfire will face extremely influencing changes in 2012

1. This game will be only played by a majority of North America and countries not affected by the block.
2. Average latency will drop as European and SA players will be urged to leave for better latency.
3. content will continue to flow into this game, with many anticipated modes (terminator mode)and modes unknown (development in korea)
4. The community will learn to respect one another and learn nettiquette. (hopefully if them 12 year olds mature by then jkjk)

Sadly, I wont be playing often by then, but I'll drop by here and there.
I'm so happy for cf, yet at the same time sad.
Bittersweet.
GL, HF everyone
PS I am not brazilian or latin american, I just grew weary of cf and want to quit.

  • Kind of a pointless thread that anyone with common sense can think of for themselves... But yes, I agree with everything here.
  • OMG, do I spy a Canadian O_o? :P hi Gods.
  • hopefully when the BRs can go to their new home :D CF can add more cool looking GP guns.

and maybe scopes only gun customization :)
  • Meh it isn't that hard to just be polite ingame.
And even easier to use the kicking system properly.

and this game will continue to host the Europeans and Asians not affect by the block (prior to august 3, 2010)
as well as all the Brazilians and other Latinos that continue to play here, willing to give up latency value for extra content that otherwise isn't or wouldn't be available in their versions.

Common sense is a lost art. Teenagers rarely use theirs.
  • Hopefully CF LA/EU will have the same exact modes and weapons by 2012.

That way everyone can migrate over there and just buy ZP.

Meh neither do old people in nursing homes.

    Agreed.

Did you make this thread out of boredom? We can all imagine for ourselves :p

    I like to watch movies.

Better one: I like to watch clouds
  • Lulwutarandumpost. I'm getting off so don't go and farm posts w/o me:p
  • Meh. I ain't leaving anywhere even if I'm an EU. I still get 60 ping on UK and 160 on NA. I'll be happy with that!

I hope therefore you don't lose that account, it's a special one nowadays :)

Too true, too true. I could arm my whole team with that load of weapons, and it's an EU account. Epicness. Tho I do play less and less CF.
  • Block?

Does he mean the Regional block that made many "foreign" players unable to play?.

Also. What is this Crossfire LA?. Do you mean West Coast Server?.

I get 8-9 ping on that server so, I hope that doesn't change.

I don't want to imply anything with this, but I'm glad Brazillian players will be moved. It's nothing against them, but most of the hackers I've had the misfortune to play against or with are from brazil. Also I don't speak portuguese so what does that leave me with?

    I laugh at your ignorance.
  • Not much will change. Most won't even know about the new CF for months, and the ones that do will probably stay because of what they've spent in ZP on their characters, just like the Germans are doing now instead of going to CF EU.
  • i dono, i can't wait for the br one to come out, so they can put a regional block on them, no new accounts for them on our system... that'll more than cut the % of hackers in half, as well as cut down the lag issues by 90% lol, i'm being generous to them about the issues but still... can't wait till all this is dealt with, i'm sick of being called a gringo, and seeing ppl write "kicka gringo" "kika low ping" etc... seriously
  • I See What You Did There
Yeah , The Br Community Will Most Likely Move To Their Own Version And Eu Players With Low Ranks Will Move To CF Eu , But The Game Is Going To Stay The Same
    Anyways , Good Luck

Well what's left of the competitive community will be gone when CS:GO comes out.. you forgot to mention that too.

I was debating buying that, I've only played counter strike once and it was a mod. I didn't like it at all so I haven't tried it other then that.

I've been considering buying CSGO when it comes out but I honestly like the graphics of Cross Fire better, plus I've spent way too much money on Cross Fire and I have a clan here.
  • i'm not gonna leave i have a ping 25 , 19 in uk servers(im a europian)
and i have allot of money spend in this game
it will not fair if we have to change from version than it will be wasted of money for me.

    greetz.

lets face it. We will miss the BR hackers. All that will be left is NA noobs crying HAK all game and trying to kick legit players.

Thank You hackers for bumping up my game. Now all thats left is getting rid of the breath glitch and bunny hop in GM!

    1. It's mainly the brazilians that whine about people doing better than them.

    2. i'd rather get called a hak and only worry about that 1 idiot instead of 8 idiots cursin me out, calling me a hak and saying I have "mini ping".

    3. This CF_LA is too little too late. Too many items have been implimented here and I doubt any of the br's will leave to play there just to have a ping advantage.. This client is over-runned by them already so there's no real chance they'll leave anytime soon without some sort of a block/ban.

    4. Once the CF_LA server is up, I think the IP ban should INCLUDE all of South America and specially BR. They can keep the accounts they have now like all others do but at least they won't be able to cheat whenever they want to.

    5. Other than giving br's free items on CF_LA, force will be needed to get rid of the majority of them out of this client.

It looks great. Gonna get it,it should be out soon.
