I thought that if you added shadow in ZM, you'd get glitches like not being able to see the boxes that have weapons in them / dc randomly. Is that fixed?

You'd be surprised, though small, there is a very small advantage of using shadows (sort of like using SPOP for the smaller peek time).

You will find it easier to find out if people are jumping you from above, possible scenarios include Downtown, Mexico etc.

It also gives you the advantage of seeing the shadow of anyone who is walking on a surface above you with holes, an example of this is below Blackwidow A bridge.

Yeah youll constantly disconnect. It took me 4 hours to work out what was going on....
