Resolution problem!

So, when i change the resolution on crossfire to 1680x1050, everything works normally. but the problem starts when i join a game, the resolution automatically goes to 800x600.'
Any solution to make the res stay at 1680x1050 in game and in lobby?

I'm pretty sure when i change the resolution, the text and everything gets smaller, but the gun doesnt change it just increases quality?

I fixed the resolution problem but now whenever I see a scope on any gun the next time I respawn everything is zoomed in like I'm scoping with a gun with no scope

bump... still looking for some answers, already used ticket support, replied with just go make a thread? When I see any gun zoom in and then when i zoom out everything goes bigger.. need some help.. thanks

The lobby resolution is 800x600, you can't change that.
Are you sure 1650x1050 is compatible with your GPU and monitor?

Yes my monitor is 1650x1050 resolution and my GPU i'm not sure about that.. well what I'm referring to is this thread

@shernfire, That thread you posted was from a year ago, things have changed since then.

And anyways, what graphics card do you have (That's GPU sorta).

What is your desktop resolution prior to opening the game.

What is the resolution you are normal with ingame (the current one you are "forced to play with")
VS
what is the resolution you wish to receive... keep in mind that CF's resolution may not work properly according to certain monitors or resolution configurations.

Ohh that thread.. but it still has the same problem
i have a ASUS GEFORCE GTX 560 TI
desktop resolution is the highest resolution
well.. I just got a new gaming pc but I don't think there is such resolution when I see someone/myself zoom in and then zoom out, like blindrob said its like having tunnel vision

i have this same problem every once in a while when i get this error i clean out the temporary flies in the computer then it works with no error. dont tell how its suppose to help, when im tryin to help u when i get the same problem

If you mean the zoom problem that won't be fixed till the devs do something about it..
It's a ingame problem that the can only fix.

For the rest for you is to change to a lower resolution and use that.
Till the fix the problems with the higher resolution.
