I'd suggest that you guys look around for and make some of the good users with over 1500 posts to moderators so they can help cleaning this forum.
we should just make everyone mod -_-
but i agree theres too much crap floating around and uselessness.
more mods might be good in several ways.
1. less crap
2. more mods means more monitering for infractions and possibly leading to a better community. -

Worry not, you will not be selected as a new MOD. -

There also means more young kids as moderators thinking they are something, which leads to people not wanting to hear a lil kid cry or for a lil kid to tell them to do something... Which then leads to people quitting, which concludes in no crossfire. Maybe a little the top but yeah, DONT LET LIL F.AGS BE MODS. kthanks -
Being a Mod is a thankless job. It sounds great at first. But then after the reality of the amount of work and crap that keeps piling in sets in, it becomes a pain in the arse.
But I agree that these forums are out of control. this is the only game where the forum rules seem not to be strictly enforced. More than half of the posts are spam and go un adressed. Only at certain times and certsain people get enforced. ( of course from my view )
But it is what it is, as the saying goes. -
Staff will be looking for more MODs before the year ends.GodsGunman wrote: »Orly?

I don't see Denxi around much but maybe him
& One_9 definitely wants it xD
Mr Shad's definitely in. Can't wait to see who else ^^ -

They probably think I'm too blunt to be MOD
I'm actually surprised they're making anyone MOD, I don't see many people online that often that are all that helpful, One_9 is the only one that comes to mind. -

I wasn't worrying about that anyway. I have a real life, I don't have time to clean a forum.GodsMarksman wrote: »Worry not, you will not be selected as a new MOD.Xfire-Trooper wrote: »There also means more young kids as moderators thinking they are something, which leads to people not wanting to hear a lil kid cry or for a lil kid to tell them to do something... I didn't say "LOL so uhh I have this idea, lets make all the people with more then 500 posts moderators"
I said that people who are trusted should be made to moderators. The mods should look around and check the posts of the users and then decide if he would be a good mod or not.Staff will be looking for more MODs before the year ends.
good to know.Being a Mod is a thankless job. It sounds great at first. But then after the reality of the amount of work and crap that keeps piling in sets in, it becomes a pain in the arse.
/sign everybody thinks it is good to be a mod but it actually sucks. You have to spend a lot of time to remove all the crappy posts and sometimes the banned people get mad and they come again and keep spamming.
btw, I think we need strict rules. Pictures in signatures are forbidden (wtf why?) but we can color our textes and re-size them and I think those are more disturbing. -

There are Mods we don't see on the forums as much as we did a couple of months ago too...
actually it's not, it means we're not responsible enough, and need to be monitored more than we areBadMonkey666 wrote: »good to know. -
Since he is committed to maintaining the quality of this forum, any indication for Mod has my support.
At this point, I dare to say that we also need quantity of indications. Therefore, there is no overhead for the current moderators. This would allow a quality itself.
I wish luck and welcome to those selected. -

He should've been promoted at the same time as Rory and Hi. He probably turned the GMs down.
And I'm more helpful than one_9 >.<
@9 Love you brah

There's really no rush. If I recall correctly, Saidin said the MOD position is currently full. However, things will change - spots will be available as time moves on.
It's probably not full at the moment due to Giggletron stepping down for university. -

An all-paid expense trip to G4Box's HQ; 100k ZP for the first 6 months which is then reduced to 10k every other month; and a lock of Saidin's beard/hair.
That is the perk of being a MOD in probation
*all a joke*
O.o Gods, both leader and hesi, I shall pray for u tonight
OT: true the forums could use pruning on the tech support, as well as practicay every sticky not closed
@hesi, true I woulda put my support on Shad too

Lol. I wish I could be more helpful. Just that I'm on my iPod atm, and it harder to get links and stuff to help, and well, to type in general. -

No, Shadow hasn't been offered a moderator spot.
Anyway, just something guys, remember that we are always looking for new members, and when most of us agree on someone, we talk to them, however post count does not influence our decision much at all. Obviously we won't bring in someone with 20 posts. But that being said, we might not bring in someone with 8,000 either.
We bring in someone knowing they're:
a) Mature enough
b) Know the community well enough
c) Know they will listen to what the other moderators and administrators tell them when it comes down to what they need to do in the beginning of their "career".
d) Can post properly. This meaning everything from knowing when to stay out of certain situations and just let it handle itself without getting themselves in the crossfire, to knowing to use proper grammar.
No one will be chosen just because they have one short time of being a "good citizen". The player's past is both taken into consideration, and their attitude when replying to certain people. Just because someone hates them, doesn't mean they can treat them differently. They have to know how to be a "medium" of sorts.
All that being said;
Again, we're always looking for new moderators to help out, especially when moderators start to get inactive. However we do know that even with some inactive moderators we can handle it, and will not rush any decision just because the mod team is a little small.
