I've been using my axe constantly and never had I had it go below the 80 mark. Chances are if its doing 70, its due to armor. It's become quite a popular item now that it's more accessible. -

swearsies axe does 70 max before the orbital station patch, and not because of armour
and the 70 is purely center without armour, if armour is involved, it hits 60
But i thought of something.... axe does 40 on left clicks to the leg, but may double hit if on the side, doing 80, as similar with the knife, which does 54 on left clicks occasionally, excluding headshots.
something tells me they buffed axes bought after the orbital station patch to match 80 dmg weapons like kris and kukri... -

You're on crack, I do 80 with a right click to the legs all the time. I just played ghost mode and I did 80 when people jumped and I hit their legs at least twice. -
Idk where you guys are getting your numbers from, but they seem way off.
Left click: (slash)
Body - 60 or 70 (rare) (if armor then 50)
Legs - 40 (idk about armor)
Head - 100
Right Click:
Head - 100
Body - 100
Legs - 80
Therefore the only way that they do 80 damage on you is either:
a) Left click (slash) your legs 2 times.
b) Right click your legs.
This is from my experiences... -

Hahaha . Many times I been hit dead while they hit my boot only :eek:.
Not even this . I am on top of the ladder ( Lost relic B site near entrance ) the guy is on the box down so at this distance he probably hit the wood where I was standing , and I was dead
.
So the guy writing this thread must have a serious problem with his AXE. Or he has probably not find the timing hitting with an H-Axe.
