I'm hearing numerous rumors about prizes and other things... can we get any confirmation on this?

I have a few people waiting to see if they will commit to playing the game when they have other games to play that they would take over this if the numbers aren't right

Well unfortunately they have a very limited budget on what they could spend in total for ESG.

And they already blew the majority of their 5 peso budget on the anticheat. They are attempting to raise some more money for the prize pool by mowing lawns and babysitting.

Never fear however ESG will be great!

Playing on an actual Anti-Cheat is a prize enough for legit CF players. If you want more you are probably cheating :P

ESG is being funded by TastyLimes, so at this point the grand prize is a house worth 5 million dollars.

The prize is actually an autographed picture of tastylimes standing in front of a 5 million dollar house.

Should do an entrance fee of 5$, prize pool would be bigger and cheaters would be angry cause they pay 5 dorra then ban.

5 dollars is nothing. Besides, adding more money also gives more incentive to try cheat. Trust me, things are going to be good.

Usually there are huge prize money pools for LANs and not so much for online events due to the fact, like Iceman said, it's a huge intensive to cheat. However if you trust your anti-cheat a fair cash prize isn't a bad idea.

I would honestly just wait until the league comes. Sure, speculation is amazing and everything, but you don't have to bash the team with questions. I'm sure that they know what they're doing. There's no point bothering Iceman and saying, "Hey, will ___ cheat be detected?" Seriously, it's agitating.

I'm saying this as a spectator, not as an admin [I'm not an admin] nor a moderator of Z8 Forums.

Just know online leagues will always have cheaters, AC OR NOT. also concering the entry fee of 5 dollars, that could be iffy and kill the league if new players dont wanna just buy into it with no deffinant outcome, so id say if by s4-5 its going good you could throw that in there.

You make a valid point. Cheaters will always happen. We are not saying our client is fool proof. We are simply saying we are very confident in what we are doing. Proof is in the pudding. And with that being said, we will not hold full leagues until everything is 100% to our expectations. When we get there...then lets see whats up as far as prizes.
