Why do people want more weapons?
Maps, sure. Bug fixes, I can really see that. Patching hackers, why not fix the biggest flaw?
But are we really that greedy for guns? I mean we have like what, 130 guns? And then you all yell for more. And then complain if it's a reskin. You guys seem to expect a gun every patch which is really only slowing them down.
You'd think 130 guns would be enough for atleast a little bit, but you all beg for more. What I really want is better hack security.
So let's not keep them from that, because I'm sure you all agree. Or atleast a better community, but that's not working.

Mmm, I love fallacies, especially hasty generalizations...
What some people want doesn't reflect what everyone wants. This will, of course, vary from individual to individual.
The only reason some people want more guns is because they have money that they can spend without caring. It's either that, or they feel that there isn't enough of a certain type of gun. Just let them ask for more guns and ignore their wants. -
Some of the community tends to buy the newest gun, use it for a few days, get bored of it, and want more. Especially if it's a GP gun. They get a new one, buy it because it's the new in, get bored of it, and assume that they can't buy any of the older GP guns because they're "out".
It's just the select few that can see that we have tons of guns, and patches should be more technical based than content based. -

A while ago I read this forum that this community was bad.
I did not give importance to it at the time. But today, little by little, I change my view of this.
Many players who frequent this forum are exceptional. Good people, really. Still, the influence of some people who want guns just to "have" and "expose" as a trophy, seem to have great power of opinion here. -

It's not that they have power, their just more vocal then most.
New guns are great but like others have said, there is always those who aren't ever satisfied.
Just like it only takes 1 person to ruin a whole movie theater experience, only takes a few vocal players to give the illusion of what everyone wants. -

Exactly.
It only takes one to talk! But there are many who follow almost blindly! And in the end, become "many."
Regardless, I still think the game will improve only when the community better! While this equation does not happen, I do not see a promising future.
We must all do our part. Even in being more present and active than those who do not contribute positively. -
Agreed. Don't forget cf is ran by 10 year old girls.
And so it is our responsibility (because we're older and / or mature) do not let that "children" to dictate the ways of the community and the game. We have to show the strength of quality over quantity. -
