Oh, and if you are REALLY old school, you should check out Total Annihilation. Me and my buddies do LANs all the time with that game.

Killing Floor own got boring, Never touched Assassins Creed.
Also SKYRIM I'm good. RPGs to me and just terrible. :P
ATM Playing: Crysis2, LA Noire, NFS The Run, Hard Reset.
Games I got havent played is Saints Row 3.
Looks like Imma grab Dead island as well.
MP games, Single player doesn't matter. Campaigns are fun too if its a good game.
What I've played so far recent is, Bullet Storm, Mafia 2, Dues Ex and DLC Standalone, Splinter Cell Conviction, Civ 4/5, Duke Nukem(New One), Burnout Paradise, BF3, Can't think of anymore atm.. -

And Ya Duke was bad. Waited 15 years for a new one and it bombed.
Need to re get RAGE. Had some texture issues on the first install as did my one buddy. -

Get some Assassins Creed games. Theyre all good. AC1 can be repetitive though.

you listed a lot of bad things about CA. however you missed some:
why CA is stupid and horrible:
-spray and pray enviorment
-the starter guns are worse than the ones from CF
-rarely any gun in that game is permanent ( this might fit in with pay2win )
-NOTHING IS PERMANENT
-one cannot instantly load the game; he must go to their website and type in a lot of stuff to start the game = = -
