This service is not supported in your region?

I haven't played CF in about a year or so. And I began to think about it and wanted to play again. I forgot my old account information so I decided I'd create a new account and it says I can't play from my region? I live in the US, and as far as I remember people were always QQing about the BRs...So why would they IP restrict us? What's happening? Just doesn't make sense to me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
