Update your patcher

Why don't you just update your patcher? Every single update you get tons of messages, if it doesnt download, if stucks in the patching and have to restart, the REZ files just don't patch, I just think tht if so many people are having these problems you Crossfire should update your patcher.

I can see the Patcher is v5, so is it too much to ask a v6? One that doesn't get stuck all the time. I haven't been able to update Crossfire t the first time since I joined years ago. And in the last update I HAD to download the files (damn REZ09) from the forum for the patcher to work and in this update I have the roblem again, it just doesn't patch the REZ. If that kind of patcher isn't working, why don't you just make another one? or just fix it.

The patcher works fine, I've never had a problem with it. sounds like if you have had this problem since you've joined it was a bad install and you system is corrupt, you should uninstall/delete/reboot and start from scratch, that should fix it

Like 3 years ago I joined using my desktop computer, since then It got formatted, got new Hard drive, installed Windows 7 Ultimate, and never could successfully patch on the first try.

Now I'm using a new laptop with W7 ultimate as well and it just doesn't patch it, las time I had to download the RF019 or something, and right now I can't update Crossfire

try using advanced SystemCare i use that and run uninstaller then after uninstall the game and after the game was successfully uninstall it will tell you if you want to delete the registry left behind and click clean ... i have that problem the other day it won't let me patch, after i did all that i got a clean game .
