Compensation?

All the people with the region error have lost DAYS worth of their timed items.

What are you going to do to compensate lost time, especially on ZP items.

[ex. i just bought 1 week EXP+50% before the patch, now its gone and i didnt even get HALF of the time.]

This thread is about items your losing because of the Devs mistake and what you think z8 should do about compensation, NOT a QQ THREAD FOR THE REGION ERROR ISSUE.

Please DO NOT QQ about the region thing here, or they will close the thread, since they dont want to tell you "it could be days til its fixed, sorry."

  • What is to be done doesn't have to be revealed or told to the players, if there is compensation, you will be told. If not, it's not as if it was planned so that a small population of the game couldn't pay.

    Z8Games will possibly do something, but it's not guaranteed to the players, nor is it owed in any way. When you purchased the item, you were fully aware that it would run out on a specific time.

    Besides, it's only been 2 days. You don't use it half of the time anyways.

    It's currently a top priority fix for the team, but the main team doesn't work weekends, so I'm sorry for you inconveniences.

    And no, I don't close threads that have a bit of discussion value.

  • My 2 cents on this topic:

    It would be a show of good faith to the players affected by the region block to have some small form of compensation. You're always going to have the CF addicted people raging about it, but to most semi-casual players, we more or less would simply appreciate it. I saw posted somewhere else about possibly extending the event time to accommodate those who are barred from playing. This would be excellent in terms of "compensation".

    Some people are having different problems and harder problems to fix compare to little Errors like you. Z8Games Technical Support & MOD's Will be trying there best to fix it and its your own fault you should wait a while and rethink what might happen even if your not expecting it so its not Z8Games fault its yours for buying it.

  • Really if there is anything to cry about, is that people will be missing the opportunity to complete the Patch event. But seeing as nobody isn't... well shhhh.

    OT: I promise that on Monday somebody, somewhere, out there, will be working hard and diligently on a solution to cure this madness, and when it does, it will be given out and all will be well.

    As for compensation goes, don't worry be happy :)
    They could have been all legalistic and said "sucks to be you kid" and not give anything out, which they are entitled to do.

    @theking228: As of right now, the only "compensation" out there is a 7 day m4 adv for those who had bugs with purchasing the M4 patriot S crates.
    Also, they put in that people will receive a 7 day M66 pistol (like the halloween pistol :) ) for EVERY 10 M4 patriot S crates purchased.

    Patience is a virtue i agree, but saying it's not owed is a false statement. Whether or not people "use" the complete amount of time they purchase (whether they have a life or not) they paid for a service.

    Example: you would not go to a barber shop and pay full price for half a hair cut.
    Example: you would not pay for a full day in Disney Land to get only a couple hours.
    Example: you would not pay full price for half of a movie.

    Its just bad business, need any more examples? I'm full of them!

    Ok I'll break it down why I chose those sentences.
    • It is stated in the Terms of Service that YOU agreed to that Z8 games can do really whatever the hell they want to, with or without notification. You don't like that aspect? Well do not play, that is your obligation under the Terms for refusing it.
    • Again part of the Terms of Service, there is no OBLIGATION of Z8 games to do any deed, act, or performance to keep up a service. If it is stopped (such as right now people experiencing the Green Zone IP bug) they really do not have to do ANYTHING about it.
    Now obviously it will be bad business and grant bad reputation, as well as possibly an inquiry by the BBB (Better Business Bureau) which could give it a bad rating.

    That in mind COULD keep Z8Games in a check by WANTING to perform good service to their "customers" even though we sort of are not "customers".

    Is really a message to all the players experiencing any and all sort of continuous problems and bugs at this moment. As I, and of course Hi said before, they are not OBLIGED to fix this, but they CHOSE to help fix this.

    Now this isn't a "wave a magic wand" act and it all goes away, no it has to go back to the developers in Asia to figure out what went wrong, how to properly recreate the problem, then to find the solution, test the solution, then bring it back to Z8Games to do another patch or something to apply it to the game.

    Please, be patient, and WAIT.

    P.S. If it is sooo hard to accept the fact that a virtual item will be time expired due to a bug, you ain't patient. AND to add the fact there is some compensation going on to all those that did/are lose/ing their time to it.
