Region IP restriction---A GIANT SHAME on Z8 History

Those who got "Service is not available in your region" have been waiting for 50 hours.

SURE it is a giant joke and shame on Z8 history, and even on all online games over the world!

Dont simply put a thread to tell us you r solving this A.S.A.P

Dont tell us the cause of this error is unknown!

I know the principle. You got database error to make all Acc. created after 3 August as ban list.

Recovering it won't take long. But you failed to do so.

It's none of business to the developers. It's all Z8's fault.

They make test server to test their new patches, and seldom got errors when new patches release to the public.

And, we can tolerent a seldom error, but this time, so many problems were brought by this idiot new patch. That's rediculous! How fcking attitude Z8 have towards customers.

Though, we can get over ourselves if z8 can fix them soon. But, 50 hours, i have no comments but LOL.

    Its being fixed... its not like its being ignored.
  • I don't think it is a big problem to be fixed for 3days. Totally bad attitude Z8 has towards us.

    I witnessed several bigger issues in other online games. They all managed to fix them in 1-2 days.

    This is how z8 has handled the region issue:

    1) saidin said "IMMEDIATELY"

    2) then they said "Major issue, cause is unknown, HIGH PRIORITY"
    [Then, after calling it HIGH PRIORITY, the fixed the OTHER 2 PROBLEMS FIRST]

    3) then when asked about it, some MOD gave a terrible, response:
    "It means exactly what it says, service is not available...etc," and linked us to the Green Zone map. How does that help when our countries ARE IN the green?

    3) then they said " Thank you for your patients"
    4) then, "should have it fixed AS SOON AS POSSIBLE"

    I sent a support ticket and got a COPY-AND-PASTE response:
    "we are aware of this issue...are working to fix it...sincerely apologize for interruption of service"

    There is not a straight answer in ANY of the responses to this issue.

    This is an EPIC customer service fail.

    Like I said... Its not like its being ignored. Also the fact it being the weekend might have something to do with it.

    Its a bigger problem than you think it is.

    It is an overreaction.

    1. Yes he did. He wasnt lying. It was sent to the devs immediately.

    2. So? Theres more than one person working on it. Its still top of the list to be fixed. The 2 other fixes were more than likely simple fixes and deemed it fit to get them out of the way.

    3. That was obviously a mistake on their behalf.

    4. How many tickets do you think they are receiving on this? Did you want a personalized response to that? Maybe a few x's at the end? >_>

    EVERY company has a pre-written reply to frequently asked questions. Im actually surprised they replied to you at all. Its such a dumb ticket to send when the answer is pasted all over the forum. No offense. Thats in fact GOOD customer service. They could simply ignore you and not tell you what they have done to fix this.

    Theyve told you that its been sent to the devs in Korea. Theres no inbetween updates from there. You'll be updated when its fixed.

    Yes you r right! Though the other two issues may be more serious, and we can tolerent to fix them first, We can't bear they put off this IP restriction error for a whole 48 hours and 48++ hours

    Sure I am clear with the issue.

    I am now in UK, i can't login on my acc.(created in Sept)

    I lend my friend acc(created 2 years ago). and successfully logged on.

    This is a data base error to have blocked accs after 3 August, no matter where u r now.

  • It's not Z8's fault, it was in fact the developers fault, stop making presumptions on information you don't actually have. Creating threads on the issue won't speed up the process of how fast the developers work.
