Fiction/Series!
What are some good book series?
I want a series so the books can keep entertained for quite some time before I go of to find other books.
I have mainly read single books, but they usually keep me wanting more.
Series I have heard good things about:
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings
Inheritance Cycle
The Wheel of Time
The Hunger Games
A Song of Ice and Fire
I realize these are mainly fantasy/epics, I haven't heard much of other types of series.
For all their popularity, I haven't read The Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series.
Try and convince me they are worth reading if you feel they are.

The Harry Potter book series is marvelous. I was able to read it for 6+ hours at a time a few times. I loved reading these books, and I read the series backwards.
What's your reading level?
i can't lie, i've enjoyed the HP series, but idk, it just seems like a too superficial series...
i wonder what if jk rowling centered herself on the world, not in the char only

dun read lord of the rings then, you're going to need far better reading level than that to read it ;]
fire and ice is more of your level, still a little complicated tough, i'd go with the hp series then

Well, Harry Potter of course is a wonderful series. I have read it probably 3 times. But, another series I have just gotten into is the Alex Cross series by James Patterson. It's about this Washington DC dectective solving crimes and many of them conflict with his personal life, or they are done BECAUSE of his life. It's a very interesting read, I first started reading Double Cross and I just could not put it down.

I hope you know I was kidding.
I am not exact on my reading level, but I am pretty sure I can handle all of these series/books.twilight
do it
I saw a kid at my school library reading it today, I wanted to go over to him, take the book out of his hands, rip his brain out, and burn it alongside the book.
I keep hearing about HP and LoTR, but what about the rest?
The most readily available atm are the Inheritance Cycle, Hunger games, and a song of ice and fire. -
I have some spare cash, about 30 dullurs, should I find a series online and buy the books all together, OR check them out from the school library.anything by R.A Salvatore.
but read them in order preferrably...
Anything specific?
I want to start with some of his best work if I do decide to read it.
