My Computer stuff:

Memory Ram : 512 MB
System type: 32-bit Operating System

I have Windows Vista also.

Dont tell me its because i have low ram because at one point i was able to run a game in less then 15 sec. I dont know what happend, i run Gamebooster close off almost everything. So i have no clue what to do help

Comments

  • Power options. set them to more performance.
Your graphics card control panel-set them to more performance.
    Try GBoost instead of gamebooster.
set your ingame settings to lower standards-16bit,blood and all that crap off. lower settings basically, maybe turn sound off i think it can help.
if nothing works then go to (computer, system properties, advanced system settings, click on the performance settings, set to highest performance. Just so you know it basicly will put you to a older version of windows and to change it back just set it to "whats best for you PC".

Then just uninstall Crossfire COMPLETLEY( like all the folders and anything of crossfire you have on you PC. Then download a new version and install it. Do not open anything while you download/install/patch. Especially Patching.
  • Honestly, my old computer took 10min to load the game itself, and half the time it would say server selection has taken too long and what not. Everything was running slow so I just bought a whole 'nother computer. If it's just the game that's slow for you, then I have no idea. New graphics card? Listen to these other people :P
  • No really, it's the RAM.

Actually maybe you could have just usual internet lagg. Not much you can do there except get better service or move closer to Canada.

Oh and don't bump like that, it's just plain stupid.
  • Pretty much get more RAM, like around 2 Gigs or more, and also need a better CPU.
  • Better RAM and better CPU.

There's no trick that can magically play CF perfectly with that low amount of RAM.

Since ZM, it takes longer for users with less RAM to join any game. So basically, if you're playing this with 512 MB RAM, you're screwed.... If you still want to keep playing, get 2GB of RAM don't settle for 1.

I have 1GB on my PC and I get a black screen but for about 15 seconds or until the round ends... So 2 GB is a must. CPU at least for you is not neccessarily a must but everything you can get helps to run CF and your PC smoother and faster.

how can i upgrade on Ram?

1st You have to check what type of RAM your system uses. Best thing to do is use your manual or if you don't have one, just go on google and type in the name of the computer and at the end type in manual. Ex: Dell Inspiron 4403 Manual.

2nd. Try to find RAM. You can do this using: amazon, ebay or newegg. Make sure that the RAM can be used for your PC. I recommend posting your findings either on the Off-Topic section for more opinions or to find a person who works in the field of computers.

3rd. Once you obtain the RAM, you can use youtube or other resources to open your computer and install and configure the RAM. It's better to youtube and watch the video with someone talking because it's alot of explaining. That and also, not every computer is made the same which means the RAM may not be in the same spot as in other computers.

    Hope this helps.
