my high school also honured war veterans too, here is how we went:
1/2. we started off with the choir singing and one person soloed ''In flanders fields''
1. mini plays
2. watched some screenshots
3. the senior band ( which im in ) played ''Purple Heart'', while we're plaing, there were some screen shots of the ones that were lost in afghanistan
4.we stood in a moment of silence for 2 min
5. we played OCanada
6. when the assembly finished ( 1st half ) we played purple heart agian
7. do it all over agian >.> -
